What to do in the area?

Out here, in the upcountry, there’s a lot of quiet. The only sounds you’ll hear are the birds and some cars passing by. Sometimes it feels like there’s nothing much at all, away from the business of the cities… But give it time. You’ll start to notice the things that don’t shout for attention but quietly shape what The Gambia really is!

You will meet people who live simply and fully, whose stories are endless. In a good way. You’ll watch chimpanzees swing through the trees, glimpse hippos lurking in the river, and maybe enjoy a picnic in the middle of nowhere.

The days here are about raw, untouched beauty and the peaceful rhythm of life. Evenings spent on our rooftop, watching the sun slip behind the trees, remind you how rare and quiet moments like these have become.

This isn’t about hustling to the next thing, what happens way too often. This is the time to enjoy the surroundings.
