With a big love for cooking, Fatou is one of the ladies behind the fire. Born and raised in the area, she knows the local flavours and traditions like no other. Whether she's preparing breakfast, lunch, or a delicious dinner, her passion for cooking and genuine hospitality shine through in every dish.

Yaya
The magic hands of Yaya preserve the garden and the pool of the Bridge Hotel. This man sings to all the plants and flowers, every day, to bless them to become colorful and strong. As our oldest employee Yaya shares all his knowledge with the youngsters. His dream is to realize a big hotel garden with fruit trees, herbs and fresh vegetables where the guest can choose their product for dinner or a fresh juice. If you bring the seeds from your home country, Yaya will grow your flower or plant in the Hotel Garden.

Maya
Born and raised in the Jarra Soma area, Maya has been part of The Bridge Hotel family since day one. With a talent for organisation and a keen eye for detail, she manages reservations and assists the General Manager with the daily operations of the hotel. Friendly, reliable, and always willing to help, Maya plays an important role in creating a smooth and welcoming experience for our guests.

Binta
My name is Binta, born and living in Pakalinding and proud mother of 5 children. As head of the housekeeping you will see me every day to maintain the rooms. My dream is to provide my children a bright future. With my job in this team I am able to let my children go to school to have a good chance in this life. Whatever is needed, I will be there to make your stay as comfortable as possible, with a bright smile.

Mariama is one of the friendly faces you'll meet during your stay. Having grown up in the Pakalinding area, she knows the community and its traditions well. Whether she's serving guests in the restaurant or lending a hand in the kitchen, she always does so in a humble and caring way.

Salieu
Born and raised in Pakalinding, Salieu is one of the hardworking people behind the scenes at The Bridge Hotel. If something breaks, needs fixing, or simply isn't working as it should, he's always ready to find a solution. Through years of hands-on experience, he has learned a wide range of technical skills and takes pride in keeping the hotel running smoothly.

Lamin
Lamin has called Pakalinding home his entire life and remains deeply connected to the local community. With a practical mindset and a willingness to learn, he has developed many of the skills needed to maintain the hotel and its grounds. His dedication and hard work help ensure that everything continues to run smoothly for our guests.

Samba
As a young guy from Senegal, trying to find a living in the Gambia, Samba found The Bridge Hotel on his journey. Without any family he is now working as a night guard. During day time he will be the first smile to see in front of the hotel to welcome you. “My wish is to find family and a home and that is what i found as part of the team from The Bridge Hotel.

Lamin Kinteh
Meet Lamin, a well respected young family man from Pakalinding. Already working for years for the Gambia Tourism Board, Lamin will start his own Tour agency in Pakalinding with local guides, Kinteh Tours. The first new started business in the Bridge Hotel Story. With him you will discover the authentic Gambia during your stay and besides that, a part of the business profit will go to community development projects in Pakalinding.
